LOADS & SPEEDS
INTRODUCTION 11
These pages have been formulated to assist design engineers in the selection of appropriate Arvis products to suit a variety of applications.
The figures obtained from graphical data should be considered the maximum allowable load for a unit when operating in the standard orientation (i.e. assumes that all loading is vertically downwards towards the base).
Although the data has been generated based on past performance and theoretical information, it is impossible to generate literature which would be suitable for all applications. This document should be used as guidance only and separate environmental considerations should be investigated by the designer. Typical factors requiring consideration may include greasing intervals, dirt ingress, temperature, shock loading etc.
This information will assist in the evaluation of a number of standard split brass rigid components. However, the design facilities available within Criptic - Arvis Ltd enable products to be produced in very short lead times to suit specific applications.
Criptic - Arvis Ltd do not hold responsibility for the accuracy of data enclosed in this document. It is intended that the figures and information enclosed will act a guidance to engineers wishing to evaluate a product prior to purchase. Environmental factors must be considered separately to ensure that products satisfy application requirements.
