HUNT ENGINEERS Series of heavy duty plummer blocks.
The HUNT series of heavy duty blocks were originally designed and manufactured by Christy Hunt of Colchester. The drawings, pattern equipment and all stock were purchased by Criptic Arvis when Christy Hunt ceased manufacturing.
The heavy duty split rigid plummer blocks consist of a cast iron split housing and precision machined split gunmetal bush, the design the split bronze bushes are replaceable without the need to replace the whole unit.
The range covers sizes from 1" to 6" (25mm to 150mm). The sizes 1" to 3 1/2" (25mm to 90mm) are supplied for 2 holding down bolts whilst the larger sizes have 4 holding down bolt holes and 4 bolts holding the cap to the base.
