Housing in various materials.
Standard bearing housings are made in grey cast iron but can be supplied in any available material i.e.: - Stainless steel, bronze etc.

Self-Aligning
Precise positioning and accurate alignment during installation are unnecessary

Housing (Protection).
Standard bearing housings are made in grey cast iron but can be plated (chrome, nickel, zinc etc) as required.

Bush Material
Various bush materials can be used depending on the application and our sales team will be pleased to advise

Working clearance of bearings on shaft eliminates press fitting needed with some rolling element bearings

A shaft collar or shoulder can provide axial location where necessary

Standard Range
Three types - Plummer (or pillow) block, Four bolt flange mounting. Two bolt flange mounting.

Stock
Metric and Inch ranges are available on a very short delivery (dependant on selection) for shaft diameters from 10mm to 150mm (1/2" to 6").

Housing Loads
The maximum permissible loading for the bush. Particularly at low rubbing speeds, may exceed that for the housing, Where such conditions are likely to occur, design advice should be obtained
